AVP, Head of Life Insurance Valuation. This position is a member of the Valuation Actuary’s Leadership team, with core responsibilities for GAAP, Statutory, and Tax valuation for Life Insurance products. The role is also responsible reviewing actuarial experience studies and setting valuation assumptions as well as explaining financial results. A focus on controls and process improvements is also required. Ideal candidate is an experienced FSA with 12+ years of insurance industry experience with a focus life insurance preferred. Insurance Solutions Analyst, Actuary/CFA/MBA. The incumbent should have 5+ years of investment management and/or financial services experience. This person will develop financial models and apply proprietary portfolio optimization and quantitative tools to develop long-term investment strategies for clients. Reinsurance Pricing Actuary. Join a specialty reinsurer with no prior reinsurance experience needed. You will get involved in Cat Modeling, Reserving, ERM, and of course Pricing. Candidates should have 5+ years of at least commercial/large account pricing experience, and ideally some technical acumen (R, VBA, Python Cat Modeling Software, etc). Northeast Region, Hybrid.
Pension Analyst, Pre-ASA. This candidate will prepare input and perform calculations for Valuations, Proposals, Top Heavy Determinations, ASC-715 Reports, GLI and GDI Costs. The ideal candidate will have experience with the creation and use of Excel spreadsheets. A background in pension or employee benefits is beneficial. Eastern Region (Hybrid schedule).

Will be responsible for calculating, analyzing, reporting, and explaining reserves and other actuarial financial statement items for Universal Life and Traditional Life business. Role involves telematics, predictive modeling, catastrophe rating, ratemaking and more.
